Dillon Dingler’s tiebreaking three-run home run in a five-run eighth inning propelled the Detroit Tigers over the Los Angeles Angels 10-4 in the opener of a four-gam series on Thursday night in Anaheim, Calif.The Angels led 4-2 going into the eighth before the Tigers teed off on Los Angeles’ bullpen with four singles, a walk and Dingler’s homer. Most of the damage was done against Reid Detmers, who gave up four of the five runs.The Tigers added three runs in the ninth to send the Angels to their sixth loss in a row.Angels star Mike Trout (left knee soreness) did not play after exiting Wednesday’s game.Detmers (0-2), who threw a no-hitter for the Angels in 2022, has allowed nine runs while recording only one out in his last two appearances.Dingler’s homer snapped a 4-4 tie for Detroit, which also got home runs from Javier Baez, Gleyber Torres and Spencer Torkelson.
