The Hit Music Channel 102.5 WIOG, WHEELZ 104.5, The Rock Station Z93 and My 96.1 WHNN are partnering together and asking listeners who feel they are in a position to help to make a monetary donation online to help support The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan during the COVID-19 crisis. The need for food assistance has already doubled and could triple during the pandemic. The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is open and actively distributing food throughout 22 Michigan counties, including Saginaw, Midland, Bay, Genesee and all of The Thumb. The organization is stepping up to provide even more food to meet the increased demand. Our radio stations are asking listeners to donate online (virtually) rather than donating food in person. The food bank does not have the resources to sort and sanitize food donated from individuals at this time. Even little monetary gifts can make a big difference. The financial gifts from our listeners allows The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan to collaborate with their networks to most efficiently provide the food and essentials our communities require to respond to this crisis. #feedtheneed
