My 96 1 invites you to walk or run to Uptown Bay City for the McLaren Bay Medical Foundation’s 5K run / walk presented by United Bay Community Credit Union! It all kicks off Friday April 30th with the Health and Wellness Fair happening from 11am to 1pm, and again from 4 to 6pm at 122 Uptown Drive in Bay City. There you can get your race packet, sponsor goodies and your t-shirt for race day! The Wellness Fair isn’t just for race participants, you can also sign up for free screenings, prize drawings and receive valuable health and fitness information. Then on Saturday May First it’s the big 5K day in Uptown Bay City! Registration starts at 7 30 am and the race begins at 9! Snacks and beverages will be provided after the event along with random prize drawings. And for those who just aren’t ready to gather for a race yet, you can still participate in the Virtual 5K happening any time before May 8th!
