China's investment in the U.S. has gone beyond purchasing Treasury Bonds. The Communist country also bought shares in everything from Coke to Visa and Bank of America, to the tune of more than $9 billion worth.

State regulators have ordered Consumers' Energy to refund customers $86 million to over 8 million people because of their improper use of funds in the decommisioning of the Big Rock Power Nuclear Plant that closed near Charlevoix in 1997.

A British teacher is suing his former employer, the Bigland Primary School, for what he calls racial discrimination. Nicholas Kafouris was supposedly fired from his teaching post of 12 years after he complained to administrators at the East London school that some of his students were celebrating the hijackers of 9/11 as heroes. Kafouris says the students told him that they too want to grow up to be "Islamic bombers." The school is made up of predominatly ethnic minorities and many are from Muslim families.

Whispers from Comerica Park say this week the Tigers could announce the signing of left fielder and former Yankee and Red Sox Johnny Damon... we'll have to wait and see, but if it happens I will be sure to keep you updated. This could also mean the beginning of the end for Carlos Guillen.
The Tigers also released their television schedule, and currently all but one game is not on T.V. the second game of the year in Kansas City April 7th.
